Group Workshops
Participate in small group sessions where 6-8 learners work together on seasonal arrangements. Each workshop focuses on specific techniques while encouraging peer feedback and creative collaboration. You'll discover different approaches to color theory and design principles through shared experiences.
Peer Mentorship
Our buddy system pairs experienced members with newcomers, creating lasting learning relationships. Advanced students share practical tips about flower selection, care techniques, and troubleshooting common challenges. This creates a supportive environment where everyone learns from each other's successes and mistakes.
Collaborative Projects
Work together on large-scale installations for local events and community spaces. These projects teach teamwork, project management, and advanced techniques while creating something meaningful for our Azerbaijan community. Recent collaborations include wedding venues and cultural center displays.
Your Learning Journey Timeline
Week 1-2: Foundation & Community Welcome
Join your learning group and get introduced to basic flower handling techniques. You'll meet your peer mentor and participate in your first collaborative arrangement project. We cover essential tools, flower anatomy, and color basics while building connections with fellow learners.
Week 3-6: Technique Development
Practice core arranging methods through group exercises and peer review sessions. Learn wiring, taping, and structural techniques while working on increasingly complex designs. Your group will complete a mid-program showcase piece together, demonstrating improved skills and teamwork.
Week 7-8: Advanced Collaboration
Lead a teaching session for newer members while working on your capstone community project. This phase emphasizes leadership development, advanced design concepts, and giving back to the learning community. Many participants find this the most rewarding part of their journey.
